Apostle Asset Management is wholly owned by Apostle Asset Holdings Pty Ltd. We entered the Australian market in 2000 providing integrated portfolio solutions for institutional clients.

People
Karyn established Apostle Asset Management in 2000. She has in excess of 20 years of experience in funds management, working with companies such as Rothschild Asset Management, ANZ Treasury and Shell.
Since establishing the company, Karyn has grown the business significantly with assets raised exceeding AUD7 billion.
Karyn holds a BA majoring in Business Law and Politics from Macquarie University.
Debbie joined Apostle Asset Management in March 2007.
Prior to that Debbie was employed by BT Financial Group (formerly Rothschild Asset Management) for 15 years. Her last role there was Head of Investments heading the investment management team as well as managing a range of diversified portfolios with a focus on strategic asset allocation and portfolio oversight.
With a career spanning more than 19 years in investment management, Debbie’s expertise gained at BT includes portfolio manager roles for fixed interest and diversified funds. Prior to joining BT, Debbie gained valuable experience in roles relating to portfolio management and portfolio administration at Bankers Trust Investment Management in London and Equitilink Australia Limited.
Debbie holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Senior Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a CFA charterholder.
Deon joined Apostle in late 2007 as Chief Operating Officer after having consulted to Apostle for six years. In his new role, Deon is responsible for the functions supporting the sales and client service teams at Apostle. These support functions include operations (and the liaison with external custodians and administrators), compliance, IT and certain corporate matters including finance and office management.
Deon has extensive experience in financial services in both his native South Africa and Australia. During his career which commenced in 1989, Deon has gained experience across multiple disciplines within the financial services sector including funds management (multi-manager, credit and alternative investment portfolios), product structuring (listed, unlisted, open ended, closed-ended, debt and equity), operations, compliance, corporate finance and general management.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
